Pullman Regional Hospital’s Web site has been recognized nationally by Strategic Healthcare Communications with an eHealthcare Leadership Award for Best Overall Internet Site in 2014. More than 1,000 entries were received from small and large hospitals throughout the nation. Pullman Regional’s Web site was judged in the category of Hospitals with 200 beds or less and received the award of “Distinction.”

The awards program recognizes the very best Web site and digital communications efforts of a wide range of healthcare organizations. Websites were judged based on a standard of Internet excellence and how they compared with others in their organizations classification. This year 114 individuals familiar with healthcare and the Internet evaluated the entries. Awards were presented in November at a special presentation in Scottsdale, AZ.

The recipient of the Gold award for hospitals under 200 beds was UW Health’s American Family Children’s Hospital, WI at www.uwhealthkids.org. Silver was awarded to Hendricks Regional Hospital, IN at www.hendricks.org. The other Distinction award went to UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland, CA at www.childrenshopsitaloakland.org.
